Belarus, Georgia to sign agreement on cooperation in culture

MINSK, 13 November (BelTA) - The Culture Ministry of Belarus and the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia will sign a cooperation agreement, BelTA learned from the Culture Ministry of Belarus.

The signing ceremony will take place during the Days of Culture of the Republic of Belarus in Georgia on 15-18 November. The official Belarusian delegation will be headed by Culture Minister Yuri Bondar.

The Georgian audience will be treated to a diverse cultural program. Belarus' Days of Culture in Tbilisi will feature the dance company Khoroshki, Pesnyary band, Honored Artist of Belarus Alena Lanskaya, soloist of the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater of Belarus Honored Artist of Belarus Vladimir Gromov, the winner of the 2017 Eurovision junior national selection Helena Meraai. The gala concert will be held on the stage of the Rustaveli Georgian State Academic Theater in Tbilisi.

The program will also include the exhibition titled as Georgia, Sun-Friendly Country by the Yanka Kupala State Literary Museum and the Belarus and Belarusians expo by the National History Museum.

The program will also feature the screeninga of feature, documentary and animated films.
