MINSK, 24 May (BelTA) – Belarus and Georgia will exchange their best practices in setting up geographic information systems (GISs) for territory management, BelTA learned from the website of the State Property Committee of Belarus.
Tbilisi will host meetings of the senior officials of the National Cadastral Agency (NCA) of Belarus' State Property Committee and the National Agency of Public Registry (NAPR) under the Ministry of Justice of Georgia.
The meeting with the NAPR management will present the priority activities of the Georgian agency and its current projects in the area of design, implementation and use of e-processes and services, advanced technologies (including solutions based on blockchain technology), geoinformatics, spatial data infrastructure, and address system development practices in the state property registration system.
The NCA delegation will visit NAPR's archive and back-up center, the House of Justice, and the NAPR regional office in Telavi. The Georgian practices in setting up applied geographic information systems and studying the processes relating to the implementation of blockchain technology in the property registration system will be used to identify areas for further development of the state property registration system, property rights and property deals in Belarus.
Together with the Georgian colleagues, the NCA will draw up a list of measures for the transfer and adaptation of business processes and technologies.
