MINSK, 23 March (BelTA) – The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Belarusian embassy in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland have been closely monitoring the Westminster terror attack in London, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“We advise Belarusians who stay in London follow the recommendations of the British authorities and refrain from visiting the area,” the ministry noted.
The Belarusian embassy in the UK is keeping in touch with the UK's Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection police department.
According to media reports, five people died and at least 40 were injured after an attacker drove a car along a pavement in Westminster on 22 March. He stabbed a policeman and was shot dead by police in the grounds of Parliament.
