MINSK, 11 January (BelTA) – Foreign laureates of international contests will no longer need job permits to work in Belarus, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Interior Ministry website.
The source reminded that the Entrepreneurship Development Ordinance the Belarus president signed on 23 November 2017 amended the law on external labor migration among other things.
Once the Entrepreneurship Development Ordinance comes into force — on 23 February — employers of winners and laureates of national and international contests, who have won awards for professional accomplishments, will no longer need permits to hire foreign workforce. Special permits for the right to work in Belarus will no longer be needed either.
