BAKU, 16 May (BelTA - Trend) – Belarus and Azerbaijan discussed the prospects for military and technical cooperation during a meeting between Azerbaijani Defense Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov and a Belarusian delegation headed by Chairman of the State Military-Industrial Committee Major General Oleg Dvigalev, the press service of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry informed.
The parties expressed satisfaction at the outcome of the joint activities in the military and military-technical areas and also stressed the importance of developing the cooperation in these areas.
The Azerbaijan armed forces have adopted Belarus-made military goods of various applications and this fact was evaluated in a positive way. The areas for new major projects aimed at improving the combat capacity of the Azerbaijani army were identified.
