Belarus approves five international technical assistance projects

MINSK, 20 March (BelTA) – The Council of Ministers of Belarus has approved five international technical assistance draft projects. The projects were initiated by the Council of Ministers' commission for international technical cooperation and formalized by Resolution No.170 as of 19 March 2019, BelTA learned from the website of the government.

One of the projects aims to strengthen the national system of prevention, treatment and support of HIV and TB patients in the Republic of Belarus. The project is coordinated by the Healthcare Ministry.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection will be in charge of the project to prepare the Seventh National Communication on Climate Change (a report under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change) and the Third Biennial Update Report of the Republic of Belarus.
