MINSK, 16 May (BelTA) – The Academy of Public Administration under the auspices of the President of Belarus and the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences have signed a memorandum of cooperation in the educational and scientific activities, BelTA has learned.
The document was signed by Rector of the Academy of Public Administration Marat Zhilinsky and Secretary of the CPC Committee of the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences Yu Xinhui. “We have agreed to cooperate in the field of humanitarian sciences. The Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences is one of the leading public universities of China. We are very interested in their experience in the field of ideology, in how they combine, for example, socialist policies with elements of capitalism. In addition, we have agreed to conduct video conferences, roundtables, and exchange delegations and probation programs,” Marat Zhilinsky said.
The head of the Chinese delegation noted that the memorandum opens new prospects for cooperation. “Thanks to this document we have more opportunities for cooperation between universities. This proves strong friendship between our countries,” Yu Xinhui noted.
The parties plan to develop mutual beneficial cooperation in education and scientific activities and also in the application of advanced experience in introducing scientific research results into the education process, establish academic and cultural ties, develop scientific potential and secure high quality of professional training.More about Society
