MINSK, 10 October (BelTA) – Bangladesh partners of the State Military Industrial Committee of Belarus have expressed their interest in getting their aviation hardware and air defense assets repaired and modernized in Belarus, BelTA has learned.
The second session of the Belarus-Bangladesh commission on military technology cooperation took place in Minsk on 7-9 October. The sides exchanged opinions about interaction in the area of military technology. The implementation of decisions made at the first session was discussed. The importance of the work done to implement the decisions was noted. The sides determined priority avenues of further bilateral cooperation and worked out approaches to problem solving.
The sides confirmed mutual interest in advancing cooperation. The Bangladesh delegation visited organizations and enterprises run by the State Military Industrial Committee of Belarus and was made familiar with their capabilities and potential.
The third session of the commission will take place in Bangladesh in 2020.
