20th International Economic Fair - Mostar 2017 opens in Bosnia and Herzegovina

MOSTAR, 4 April (BelTA - FENA) - The 20th International Economic Fair - Mostar 2017 opened its doors today, bringing together 800 exhibitors from 30 countries.

This year's partner country is the Republic of Croatia, whose Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic officially opened this year's five-day economic event.

The opening ceremony was attended by numerous statesmen from the region and the world, among others, Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, President of Montenegro Filip Vujanovic and Deputy Minister of Agriculture of China Qu Dongyu. After the opening ceremony, all of them together with the highest state officials of Bosnia and Herzegovina toured the fair space.

Mostar Fair is of a general type and it traditionally includes traders from almost all branches of economy, amongst which are agriculture, gastronomy, tourism and service industries, followed by electrical and IT sector. An integral part of the Mostar Fair are two traditional specialized events: Tourism Fair, at which the autochthonous local wines and tourism potentials are presented, as well as Book Fair and Printing Industry Fair.

Mostar Fair is held in the Free Zone "Hercegovina", on over 30,000 square meters of indoor and outdoor space.
