MINSK, 26 April (BelTA) - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko awarded the Order of Mother to 23 women from Minsk for giving birth to and bringing up five and more children, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
Among the awardees are teacher of Minsk secondary school No. 59 Natalya Borisenok, librarian of Minsk gymnasium No. 19 Yekaterina Savritskaya and engineer of the Belarusian State Technological University Nadezhda Sukhotskaya.
The Belarusian head of state signed a corresponding decree on 26 April.
