MINSK, 23 April (BelTA) – The Order of Mother has been conferred on 50 women from Vitebsk Oblast, Gomel Oblast, Grodno Oblast and Minsk Oblast for giving birth to and bringing up five and more children. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko signed the corresponding decree, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian head of state.
Among the awardees were teacher of Novopolotsk nursery No. 30 Oksana Vartanova, employee of Yelsk secondary school No. 1 Anna Baranovskaya, head of Dubrovnya post office of the Lida regional postal service center Irina Shcherbo and accountant of the trading unitary enterprise “Lubansky kooptorg” Olga Kovshova.
