MINSK, 12 May (BelTA) – The opening of the Turkmenistan Embassy in Minsk has become a symbol of the dynamic Belarus-Turkmenistan relations, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said as he signed the distinguished visitors' book at the embassy on 12 May, BelTA has learned.
“One more important event has become part of the history of our friendly relations. This is the opening of the new building of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Belarus. The building adorns the city's skyline. Now in Belarus we have a piece of the sunny Turkmenistan which symbolizes the dynamic bilateral relations,” the Belarusian leader noted.
On 12 May, the Belarusian and Turkmenistani heads of state attended the opening ceremony of the Turkmenistan Embassy in Belarus. The presidents reaffirmed their interest in advancing mutually beneficial relations as they took part in one-on-one and extended meetings on 11 May.
