MINSK, 15 August (BelTA) – Mistakes in the personnel policy need to be corrected timely, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said at the session to discuss the social and economic development of Grodno Oblast which was hosted by the Volkovysk District Executive Committee on 13 August, BelTA has learned.
The President stressed that the development of regions depends on the senior officials in regional and district administrations. The head of state imposes stringent requirements on the power vertical.
At the session Alexander Lukashenko asked about the efficiency of the work of chairmen of oblast and district executive committees. Since there are certain problems with the fulfillment of forecast targets, the President asked a reasonable question if certain senior executives meet the requirements. “Correct mistakes, if there are any,” the head of state said.
