Lukashenko to meet with representatives of Chinese mass media

MINSK, 4 May (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko will meet with the representatives of China's central and regional mass media partaking in the press tour to Belarus, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The event will take place at the Palace of Independence and will become a key event in the press tour of Chinese journalists. The meeting with Alexander Lukashenko will be attended by 40 journalists from the biggest mass media outlets of China, including the Chinese news agency Xinhua, newspapers People's Daily and China Daily, China Central Television, other printed, electronic, and television media resources.

The first large-scale press tour of Chinese journalists representing ten provinces to Belarus takes place on 1-7 May. Chinese reporters have already visited the memorial complex Mound of Glory, manufacturing enterprises BelGee and BelAZ, the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park Great Stone, the High-Tech Park, enterprises Ozeritsky-Agro and Babushkina Krynka, other famous Belarusian enterprises.

After the meeting with the Belarusian head of state Chinese journalists will visit other enterprises, cultural and social facilities.
