Lukashenko to hold talks with China President Xi Jinping

MINSK, 22 June (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko will hold talks with China President Xi Jinping in the near future. The Belarusian head of state made a relevant statement at the 5th Belarusian People's Congress on 22 June, BelTA has learned.

BelTA reporter earlier that Alexander Lukashenko will pay a working visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan on 23-24 June where he will take part in the summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

The President of Belarus is also expected to meet one-on-one with a number of foreign leaders.

The forthcoming SCO summit in Tashkent will be the first one that Belarus will attend in the capacity of an observer.
