Lukashenko to approve minimum set of regulations for business entities

MINSK, 14 February (BelTA) – I will personally approve a minimum set of regulations for business entities, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said at the session with the members of the working group on the improvement of audit activities and eradication of excessive requirements to business on 14 February, BelTA has learned.

“I will personally approve a minimum set of regulations which is really needed to launch a business activity and is dictated by life itself. Business entities should know their obligations. Full stop. Do not impose excessive requirements on them,” the President said.

“My point of view is as follows: the more regulations will be eradicated by directors and ministers the better. If I find out that you artificially leave any normative and legal instructions or suggest conducting excessive checks and audits you will be fired,” the Belarusian leader emphasized.

“My tough requirement is to solve this problem. And we can solve it,” the head of state said.

Alexander Lukashenko instructed the members of the working group to use all available tools to fulfill the instructions. The work should be open, the general public and the business community should be involved.

“It is essential to solve pending issues. Please step up efforts to do it. I want productive work from all of you. I want the representatives of government bodies to submit concrete proposals in the near future,” the President added.
