MINSK, 17 November (BelTA) – Oil and gas become the things of the past, the future belongs to advanced technologies, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said at the press conference for the Russian regional mass media on 17 November, BelTA has learned.
Cutting-edge technologies will be source of wealth in the future, the President is convinced.
According to the head of state, Belarus applies advanced technologies in all spheres of life, is developing nuclear energy and space technologies. “They are applied in healthcare and education,” Alexander Lukashenko said.
In particular, the head of state mentioned a heart-lungs transplant surgery performed by Belarusian specialists. “We introduce innovations in all spheres because they are the foundation of the future,” the President said.
