MINSK, 26 July (BelTA) - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has extended greetings to President of the Council of State and the Council of Ministers of Cuba Raul Castro Ruz as the country celebrates the Day of the National Rebellion, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“Today, amid a complicated and volatile international situation, Belarus particularly values the reliable and open relations with Cuba. We deeply respect Cuba's consistent and principled policy aimed at securing social justice, defending independence and national dignity,” the message of greetings runs.
Alexander Lukashenko stressed that further dynamic development of the Belarusian-Cuban cooperation in every area of mutual interest is among the priorities of the Belarusian foreign policy.
