Lukashenko sends greetings to new IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi

MINSK, 1 November (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to new Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Mariano Grossi, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“I am confident that you professional skills, rich life experience and dedication will contribute to strengthening the authority of the agency, successful implementation of its honorary mission to ensure the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons and the peaceful use of nuclear energy. Belarus consistently supports the activities of the agency and counts on further fruitful cooperation for sustainable development,” the message of greetings reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished strong health and the implementation of all the plans to Rafael Mariano Grossi.
