MINSK, 17 October (BelTA) - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent a letter of birthday greetings to Chairman of the Belarusian Union of Writers Nikolai Cherginets, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“You have achieved universal recognition as a versatile writer – a master of detective fiction, the author of widely known novels based on your own experience. Our youth need such truthful and didactic books today,” the felicitation message reads.
The President remarked that over the years of productive work as the chairman of the Belarusian Union of Writers, Nikolai Cherginets has united creative forces to promote the ideals of peace, kindness, and spirituality with the help of words. “Your personality harmoniously combines the best qualities of a public activist, leader, and litterateur,” the Belarusian head of state stressed.
Alexander Lukashenko wished Nikolai Cherginets cheerfulness and creative energy.
