MINSK, 20 January (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent a letter of birthday greetings to State Counselor of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“People in Belarus appreciate you as a wise and far-sighted politician. You have done a lot for the social and economic wellbeing of Tatarstan, peace and stability in the region. Your generosity, wisdom, and balanced approaches in public affairs deserve sincere respect,” the felicitation message reads.
The head of state expressed confidence that with the assistance of Mintimer Shaimiev the relations of Belarus and Tatarstan will remain increasingly vibrant in the future.
