Lukashenko ready to visit Venezuela to galvanize bilateral cooperation

MINSK, 5 October (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko is ready to visit Venezuela in order to give an impulse to the advancement of bilateral cooperation. The Belarusian head of state made the statement during expanded-participation negotiations with Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro on 5 October, BelTA has learned.

Alexander Lukashenko said: “Three Belarusian-Venezuelan commissions have already been established. They have not convened to resolve problems for several years. I and the president have agreed that a Belarusian-Venezuelan commission will convene in Minsk in November. I will get involved in the resolution of these problems. In November we will sketch out a concrete action plan to resolve the problems in our relations. I am ready to fly to Venezuela. I and the president will once again discuss this plan and approve it.”

The Belarusian head of state underlined that the development of this plan should in no way stop work in other areas.
