Lukashenko, Rasizade discuss Belarus-Azerbaijan relations development

BAKU, 29 November (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko and Azerbaijan Prime Minister Artur Rasizade discussed the prospects of Belarus-Azerbaijan relations at the meeting in Baku on 29 November, BelTA has learned.

The sides paid special attention to the implementation of arrangements which were reached during the official negotiations of the presidents of Belarus and Azerbaijan.

After the meeting there was an official dinner on behalf of the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan.

Before the meeting with Artur Rasizade the head of state visited the Heydar Aliyev Center which was founded in accordance with the decree of Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev and opened in 2012.

The center studies Heydar Aliyev's philosophy of the state development and ideology of Azerbaijan, the country's history, its language, cultural, national, and spiritual values.

The building of the center includes an audience hall, a museum, exhibition halls, administrative facilities. In 2014 the building received the Design of the Year award. One of the most authoritative architectural awards was instituted by the London Design Museum.

The building is one of the symbols of modern Baku.
