MINSK, 19 June (BelTA) – On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has extended condolences to Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, the people of Portugal, families and friends of the victims of the forest fire in central Portugal, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The head of state noted that it was with great sorrow that Belarus learned of the deadly forest fire in Portugal.
“We mourn the victims of the wildfire, and stand in solidarity with those struggling to cope with the impact of the devastating disaster,” the message of condolences reads.
