MINSK, 14 September (BelTA) – There are no reasons for the growth of prices in Belarus, President Alexander Lukashenko said when approving the appointment of new heads of the local administrations on 14 September, BelTA informs.

The president pointed out the need to take the pricing situation under control. “You should be informed by people, your auditors, trade unions (they are doing it very well),” Alexander Lukashenko said.

“Warn everyone involved in sales and then, having necessary information, check everything and punish those who inflate prices unreasonably,” the head of state added.

On the whole, the president urged to be careful in this issue. “Do not stop the work of enterprises. At the same time, you should see that there are no reasons for the growth prices today. On the contrary, the level of inflation is falling. It is important to keep the level we have now. This is also a task for you,” Alexander Lukashenko noted.
