MINSK, 1 February (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko signed decrees to make personnel decisions in law enforcement agencies, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
Oleg Matkin has been appointed Head of the Department for the Execution of Punishment. Alexander Kovalchuk has been appointed Minsk Oblast Police Department Chief. Igor Shcherbachenya has been appointed Mogilev Oblast Police Department Chief. Igor Burmistrov has been appointed First Deputy Internal Forces Commander of the Interior Ministry – Chief of Staff.
