Lukashenko instructs to put priorities straight in education

MINSK, 23 June (BelTA) – It is needed to put priorities straight in education in August, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said at the meeting with the senior officials of the Belarus President Administration on 23 June, BelTA has learned.

“We should dot all the i's in August and determine the period of time during which we will solve remaining issues. For example, with school books. When, where, and in what volume will we prepare and publish new books? It is also needed to solve other issues,” Alexander Lukashenko said.

According to the president, there are many issues in agriculture. However, these issues will be discussed in detail later. “We have agreed that we will revise this problem in autumn after the harvesting campaign,” the head of state said.

The meeting also focused on the state of affairs in the housing and utilities sector, the efforts to liberate business initiatives, the periodicity of consideration of nationwide issues at the presidential level, and other topics.

Alexander Lukashenko urged the participants of the meeting to raise issues which should be addressed at the highest level.
