ZHITKOVICHI, 28 April (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko is holding a session with the representatives of the Zhitkovichi District Executive Committee and local enterprises on 28 April, BelTA informs.
The head of state remarked that he had arrived in Zhitkovichi District because not enough attention is sometimes paid to such districts which are located far from Minsk and oblast capitals. “Our governors are used to focusing on oblast capitals. Unfortunately, it happens. I see such issues in all regions,” he said.
“You have a rare opportunity to ask your questions directly, first of all, to speak about drawbacks that exist at various levels,” Alexander Lukashenko remarked. “I hope to have a sincere conversation,” he stressed.
At the beginning of the session Alexander Lukashenko remarked that a lot has been done in Zhitkovichi District in recent years. However, there are still certain issues, such as red tape and other things. “I think that people living here deserve more from the state. But it does not mean that there will be no tough responsibility for the results of work,” the president said.
