Lukashenko: Belarus is ready to do everything it can do for Moldova at any time

VITEBSK, 13 July (BelTA) – Belarus is ready to do everything it can do for Moldova at any time. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko made the statement as he met with Moldova President Igor Dodon on 13 July, BelTA has learned.

Alexander Lukashenko said: “We are ready to do everything you like for you if we can at any time. Everything you have seen starting with industrial tractors, BelAZ and MAZ trucks, and agricultural machines. We don't hide anything from you. You are a person, who is close to us. We have virtually the same views. Just remember that at any moment we are ready to help and back you up.”

Alexander Lukashenko noted that he treats Moldova and its nation with great respect. “For some reason Moldovans like to say they are a small country and a small nation. But they are a great nation. A standard country on the average European scale,” stated the Belarusian leader.

Igor Dodon visited a number of enterprises and cultural facilities prior to meeting with Alexander Lukashenko. The Belarusian head of state stressed: “You have seen Belarus. One can say you have touched its manufacturing sector and agriculture. You have been to our cultural facilities and know how we treat our memory. We are not staging PR stunts telling about our bad luck and the hard time we had during the war. We keep the memory secure.”

“Your prelude to our meeting is very valuable. I can talk to you as a man, who knows Belarus,” added Alexander Lukashenko.
