Lukashenko arrives in Georgia on official visit

TBILISI, 22 March (BelTA) - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has arrived in Georgia on an official visit. The aircraft with the Belarusian head of state on board landed at Shota Rustaveli Tbilisi International Airport, BelTA has learned.

On 22 March Alexander Lukashenko will hold negotiation with Georgia President Giorgi Margvelashvili to discuss a wide range of issues on the agenda of bilateral cooperation. They will talk over the diversification and intensification of product deliveries, development of production cooperation, establishment of joint enterprises, cooperation in science, education and medicine, transport and logistics, implementation of infrastructure projects.

Alexander Lukashenko and Giorgi Margvelashvili will also discuss political cooperation, international contacts, the situation in the world and in the region.

There will be on-on-one and extended negotiations. After the talks the sides are expected to sign a number of international documents to promote trade and economic, humanitarian cooperation, including in such industries as healthcare, education, banking sector, regional interaction.
