MINSK, 1 June (BelTA) – Alexander Kosinets who was appointed Aide to the Belarus President will supervise the implementation of strategic projects. This is envisaged in Decree No. 194 of 30 May 2017 which was published on the National Legal Internet Portal, BelTA informs.
The document introduces amendments to Decree No. 40 of 13 February 2017 “Concerning the optimization of the Belarus President Administration”. The structure of this government body has been also approved. Previously, it included the post of the aide to the Belarus president for legal and judicial affairs.
In accordance with the revised document, the post will be now called the Aide to the President of the Republic of Belarus. A corresponding provision on the aide to the president has been amended.
The aide to the president will supervise the implementation of strategic projects in accordance with the instructions of the head of state, monitor the situation and inform the Belarusian president about the progress in the fulfillment of state programs, scientific research and innovative development initiatives by the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the results of commercial projects.
The aide is also authorized to submit proposals regarding the efficient implementation of strategic projects to the head of state in accordance with the established procedure via the Belarus President Administration. He will also interact with the Council of Ministers, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, state administration bodies, local executive and regulatory bodies.
The decree entered into force after its signing.
