Karpyak appointed chief inspector for Minsk

MINSK, 14 March (BelTA) – Head of state Alexander Lukashenko appointed Vladimir Karpyak Belarus president's aide - chief inspector for Minsk, BelTA has learned.

Alexander Lukashenko underlined that Minsk should conform to the status of the country's capital. He drew special attention to the work of the housing and utilities sector, development of real economy and creation of new jobs.

Before the appointment Vladimir Karpyak worked as the director general of OAO Minsk Gear Works.

Alexander Lukashenko also approved the appointment of Igor Buzovsky as Head of the Administration of the Tsentralny District of Minsk.
