MINSK, 27 March (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has signed a decree to honor more than 40 people with state awards, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
Representatives of various professions have received orders and medals in recognition of the many-year productive work, professional excellence, attainment of good results in the manufacturing sector, road construction and agriculture, a big personal contribution to the implementation of the state policy in social security and healthcare, training of highly qualified specialists, development of the international road transportation system, culture and art.
The Order of Honor has been conferred on worker of Kozlov Minsk Electrotechnical Plant Vasily Zhigimont; the Order of Francysk Skaryna – on graphic artist, member of the Belarusian Union of Artists Vladimir Savich, the Medal for Excellent Labor - on worker of Kozlov Minsk Electrotechnical Plant Vladimir Gunich; the Medal of Francysk Skaryna – on Deputy Director of the Youth Variety Theater Alexander Dolzhevsky.
Apart from that, honorary titles have been bestowed upon a number of people. In particular, leading stage performer of the Grodno Oblast Drama Theater has become the Honored Artist of Belarus.
