Central government, Minsk Oblast administration instructed to develop Zhodino

BORISOV DISTRICT, 17 November (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko instructed the central government and the Minsk Oblast governor to get down to developing the city of Zhodino during his working visit to Borisov District on 17 November, BelTA has learned.

The head of state stressed that there are large companies located in Zhodino and the suburbs. This means that new specialists will move to the city and will bring their families. In this regard, he urged to clean up the city and pay close attention to housing construction.

The matter was in the spotlight of the president's meeting with BelGee employers following the inauguration ceremony of the new BelGee car factory. “I have instructed the government and the Minsk Oblast governor to take care of Zhodino. This city does not look so good even in comparison with district capitals. Architects will design its proper look by spring. We should clean it up. This is the instruction for everyone who will work at this site, from BelGee to BelAZ,” Alexander Lukashenko underlined.
