MINSK, 20 March (BelTA) – The system to identify talented young Belarusians should be improved, Alexander Lukashenko said as he met with young people at the Belarusian State Youth Theater on 20 March, BelTA informs.
The Belarus president believes the government is able to provide gifted young people with expensive musical instruments, for instance. “It is important to identify talented people who need support,” the head of state underlined.
Maintaining such a system in art and sports is the most difficult thing, he added. The president said he cares about this matter and urged to make every effort to identify young talents and provide them with everything they need. “This is the most important task,” he added. A person needs an initial impetus to believe in himself or herself and move forward, Alexander Lukashenko summarized.
He also recalled that Belarus has all the instruments for support, including funds which receive significant sums from the government.
