MINSK, 2 August (BelTA) – Families with many children and young families can get state support for housing construction in Belarus. This is envisaged in Decree No. 274 “On amending the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus” which was signed by Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko on 2 August, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The decree provides for amendments to Decree No. 240 of 4 July 2017 “On state support to citizens for the construction (renovation) of housing”.
In accordance with the decree, young families and families with many children needing to improve their housing conditions who concluded agreements for commercial loans before 6 August 2017 can use the financial support of the state on the terms of Decree No. 585 of 22 November 2017 “On providing financial support to young families and families with many children”.
According to the information of the governments, such state support can be provided to 2,814 young families and 148 families with many children in Belarus.
