Belarus to help Moldova train engineers for industrial companies

MINSK, 19 April (BelTA) – Belarus is ready to train high-quality industrial specialists for Moldovan enterprises, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko told the media following negotiations with Moldovan Prime Minister Pavel Filip on 19 April, BelTA informs.

“The most important project we would like to set in motion together with Moldova is meant to train specialists for this country. We will assemble buses and increase the share of local content here. If there are no people who can produce and operate these vehicles, there will be trouble,” Alexander Lukashenko underlined.

Belarus makes such offers only to its friends, he stressed, because such projects are costly, and it is improper to share training practices and technologies with everyone. “We can train engineers for you in Minsk in several months. They will come back to Moldova as masters and will assemble buses, increase the share of local content at other companies, and simultaneously teach other specialists,” Alexander Lukashenko said.

Moldovan President Igor Dodon asked Belarus for assistance with training technology specialists. “We are ready to help you train specialists in the main fields as you are our brothers,” the Belarusian leader remarked.

The sides will carefully examine these matters as relevant instructions have been given to the governments and related bodies and agencies of the two countries.
