Belarus president's son drives harvester, collects 5 tonnes of grain

MINSK, 18 August (BelTA) – Nikolai Lukashenko, the youngest son of Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko, drove a harvester on 18 August to collect a total of 5 tonnes of grain, BelTA learned from the news released by the TV channel Belarus One.

BelTA reported earlier that while visiting agricultural enterprises in Shklov District and Orsha District on 18 August Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko was made familiar with the performance of a flagship harvester made by the Belarusian company Gomselmash. The head of state suggested testing the harvester in action. One of the employees of the agricultural company OAO Alexandriyskoye took care of driving the harvester while Alexander Lukashenko stood on the deck near the driver's cabin to get familiar with the harvester's performance on the move. Nikolai Lukashenko was standing next to him.

Some time later Nikolai Lukashenko went behind the steering wheel of the harvester. He added 5 tonnes of grain to the harvester's bunker.
