MINSK, 23 May (BelTA) – For the sake of implementing the project to build the second artificial runway at Minsk National Airport the borders of Minsk and Smolevichi District have been changed. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has signed corresponding decree No. 194, BelTA leaned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
Land plots with the total area of 158.44 hectares, including 147.51 hectares owned by Minsk National Airport and 10.93 hectares owned by the Smolevichi forestry farm, have become part of the city of Minsk.
In accordance with the decree, the abovementioned territories have been included in Oktyabrsky District of Minsk.
The decree shall enter into force after its official publication.
