MINSK, 30 May (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent Republic Day greetings to Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev on behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“Belarus will remain a steadfast friend of Azerbaijan ready to continue making every effort to advance the bilateral strategic cooperation,” the message reads.
Alexander Lukashenko expressed confidence that by tapping into the potential of the bilateral relations, Belarus and Azerbaijan will significantly intensify their political and economic cooperation thereby creating a reserve for further growth of their economies and strengthening of their role in the international arena.
