Belarus president sends Independence Day greetings to Uzbekistan

MINSK, 3 September (BelTA) - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev as the country celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“I am convinced that the mutual focus on the deepening of trustful and constructive relations between our states will help enrich the bilateral dialogue will new examples of productive and mutually beneficial cooperation,” the message of greetings reads.

Alexander Lukashenko remarked that Belarus hails the impressive success of the social and economic reforms in Uzbekistan, the enhancement of the country's authority in the region of Central Asia and on the international arena.

The Belarusian head of state wished the Uzbekistan president strong health, unflagging energy, fulfillment of all ideas and aspirations. He also wished Uzbekistani people kindness and wellbeing.
