Belarus president receives credentials of foreign ambassadors

MINSK, 16 January (BelTA) - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko received credentials of foreign ambassadors on 16 January, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian president received credentials of the ambassadors of Georgia, Egypt, Iceland, Kazakhstan, Cambodia, Columbia, Cuba, Malaysia, Malta, Nigeria, Tajikistan, Croatia.

“Our country is open to new ideas, projects, initiatives. I am convinced that as ambassadors you will do your utmost to give positive dynamics to our political, trade and economic contacts,” Alexander Lukashenko said.

He told the diplomats that Belarusian partners are prepared for productive and efficient joint work.

The president wished the ambassadors every success in their responsible work. “Let your stay in Belarus will be an impressive and useful period in your lives. Welcome to Belarus!” the Belarusian leader added.
