Belarus president reaffirms building country for people as primary goal

MINSK, 24 April (BelTA) – Building a country for people is still the key goal. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko made the relevant statement in his address to the nation and the parliament on 24 April, BelTA has learned.

The head of state stressed: “The key goal remains unchanged: we are building a country for people.”

In his words, making the economy stronger and making Belarusians richer come to the forefront now. The world has not become simpler. It has become more interesting and has given equal opportunities and chances to everyone. Their proper use will determine the country's future, independence, and success, said Alexander Lukashenko.

“What Belarus will look like tomorrow depends on each and every one of us! One should remember that only countries where responsibilities of the state and the society are balanced can prosper. Where everyone cares not only about themselves but about their country, too. Where any challenges and threats unite the society and help people survive in the modern world instead of splitting the nation,” said Alexander Lukashenko.

“If we work properly and conscientiously, then through joint efforts we will be able to reach our goals and make the life of the Belarusian nation better. And we will accomplish it because we know where we are going and what we want,” concluded the president.
