Belarus President off to China on state visit

MINSK, 28 September (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has left for the People's Republic of China on a state visit. The aircraft with the Belarusian leader on board departed from the Minsk National Airport, BelTA has learned.

The program of the visit includes negotiations with China President Xi Jinping. After the talks the sides are expected to sign about 30 international documents concerning the development of political, economic, and social cooperation.

In Beijing Alexander Lukashenko will also meet with Premier of the State Council of China Li Keqiang, Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Yu Zhengsheng, and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Zhang Dejiang.

Besides, the President of Belarus will visit Peking University where he will meet with the senior personnel of the university and students, answer their questions.
