MINSK, 5 September (BelTA) - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent a letter of birthday greetings to Sri Lanka President Maithripala Sirisena, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“I am convinced that under your leadership the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka will be vigorously developing for the benefit of every Sri Lankan family and in order to enhance the authority of the country in the international arena,” the message of greetings reads.
The head of state expressed hope that Belarus and Sri Lanka will continue advancing all-round cooperation relying on the principles of mutual respect and partnership.
