MINSK, 25 July (BelTA) - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko sent greetings to People's Artist of Belarus Dmitry Smolsky to congratulate him on his 80th birthday, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The head of state noted that significant achievements of the Belarusian composers' school are connected with the name of Dmitry Smolsky.
“By your enormous talent, high professionalism and dedicated service to art you have won the hearts of many fans both at home and abroad. Your pedagogical activities, the work to develop young talents deserve the words of sincere gratitude,” the message reads.
Alexander Lukashenko expressed his confidence that the artist will continue to enrich the national treasury of musical culture.
