MINSK, 23 May (BelTA) - The club of young diplomats of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the council of young diplomats of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs signed a memorandum on cooperation. The ceremony took place in the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, BelTA has learned.
During the meeting with young diplomats and foreign service veterans of Belarus and Russia Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei stressed the need to preserve and develop the close bilateral ties between the two countries in various fields.
Work in this area will depend, among other things, on the modern generation. Therefore, the minister called on the young diplomats to continue the friendly traditions in relations between the two countries which have been laid in previous years.
As BelTA reported earlier, the visit of representatives of veterans and youth organizations of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been organized as part of the events dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
