MINSK, 24 May (BelTA) – The working groups of the trilateral contact group promoting peace settlement in Ukraine have resumed talks in Minsk, BelTA learned from the Twitter account of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The previous meeting of the contact group took place on 15 May. During the meeting, OSCE's special representative in the trilateral contact group Martin Sajdik spoke about “a massive exchange” of prisoners of war in the context of the successful launch of a mechanism to verify the desires of the persons detained as a result of the conflict. The mechanism was launched on 28 April.
