MINSK, 19 September (BelTA) – The Week of Integration and Cooperation will take place ahead of the 5th Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia, BelTA learned from the press service of the Council of the Republic.
The program will include a number of youth events. On 21 September Mogilev will gather young people from Bryansk Oblast and Mogilev Oblast. On 9-10 October the oblast center will host the 6th Forum of Belarus and Russia “Youth for the Union State”.
On 28 September Mogilev will play host to a joint meeting of the unions of women of Mogilev Oblast and Tula Oblast to discuss the role of women's public organizations in the implementation of social programs. Participants will share experience in cooperation with the executive authorities in addressing issues related to the family and children and also discuss opportunities, achievements and problems of female entrepreneurship. Mogilev and Tula are set to sign a protocol on female entrepreneurship. Women's organizations will outline cooperation plans.
The Week of Integration will also feature the Union State students' sport event Olymp. The program will comprise competitions in ice hockey, volleyball and chess.
The 5th Forum of Regions will be held in Mogilev on 10-12 October. The event is organized by the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus and the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia. The forum is an annual event held in Belarus and Russia on a rota basis.More about Politics
