MINSK, 19 October (BelTA) – Political consultations between representatives of the Belarusian and Brazilian ministries of foreign affairs are in progress in Minsk with a view to enhancing the bilateral relations, BelTA learned from Dmitry Mironchik, Head of the Information Office, Press Secretary of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the source, representatives of Belarus and Brazil are discussing the enhancement of bilateral relations, the development of the legal base that regulates cooperation, ways to advance interregional and interparliamentary cooperation, and cooperation in international organizations.
Dmitry Mironchik said Belarus and Brazil are working to establish a stable bilateral dialogue at the high and top levels and advance political partnership in the international scene. Belarus and Brazil are intent on invigorating and further expanding trade and economic cooperation in addition to more fully exploring the existing potential of the bilateral relations in order to increase and diversify the mutual trade in merchandise and services.
